Can I link to content in your site?
Any sample content is free to link to as
you wish. However all content can be linked
to as long as you have a subscription account
with quantunet.
I am a teacher/instructor, can I present your
video tutorials in my classroom?
Yes, in fact quantunet is designed to be used
in the classroom. Students can use the resources
individually or instructor can present to them
as a group.
Can I print out instructions from Quickskills
or documentation from Knowledgebase or Worksheets?
Yes all written content is free to print or
photocopy and to be used for teaching. If you
are unsure just send off a quick email to support@quantunet.com
and we will answer any questions you may have.
Can I download the video
tutorials from Quantunet and store them on
my computer?
No not at present. Quantunet is designed to
be an online tool. The advanced video tutorial
maps and other resources only function when
viewed from our website.
QuickSkills Design:
Why is there no sound on
quickskills?
Quickskills a designed to be simple and to
the point video tutorials that show students
how to perform tasks in the most elegant way
possible. They are primarily designed for the
visual learners and ESL students for this reason
we have deliberately avoided the use of audio
commentaries in our quickskills video tutorials
as it distracts form key content.
Can I change the size
of the text?
Yes written instructions can be resized
in the browser window by holding down the "ctrl"
key scrolling the mouse wheel.

Are Quantunet's resources
cross browser compatible?
Yes Quantunet's web pages and the templates
demonstrated in our dreamweaver tutorials have
all been tested with multiple versions of safari,
firefox opera and internet explorer. Great
care is taken to ensure that out QuickSkills
tutorials and knowledgebase articles teach
students how to build cross browser computable
accessible HTML, CSS and XML code.
What software do I need
to use Quantunet's resources?
To view the video tutorials and online resources
you only need to have a web browser with flash
payer plugin installed. Depending on the software
you are learning you may want to have but do
not necessarily need Word 2003, Powerpoint
2003, Excel 2003, Macromedia Flash studio 8,
Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Adobe Flash CS3, Dreamweaver
CS3 and Fireworks CS3.
What
are the minimum hardware recommendations
?
Ideally users should have a broadband internet
connection and a PC with at least 64MB Graphics/Video
card memory.
Do I have to pay more
as content is added to Quantunet?
No absolutely not. As content is added to
quantunet is it made available to all subscribers
at no extra charge.
What do I do if content
that I need is not yet available at Quantunet?
If there is something specific that you require
in the form of a video QuickSkills or knowledgebase
article simply contact support@quantunet.com
and if it does not already exist in Quantunet's
resources we will do move it to the top
of the development que and contact you when
it has been published..
Are QuickSkills available
on CD?
Currently Quantunet's quickskills video tutorials
are only available online.

Why
can't I change my password?
If your find that you cannot change you password
it is most likely that you are part of a group
subscription. group users do not have the option
of chanting their password once it has been
set by the account administrator.
How do I change my password?
To change the password to your subscription
account:
- In the top right hand
corner of the browser window click on "My
account".
- Log in to your account
if you haven't already.
- Then in the Quantunet Member Control
Panel click
on "Update Password".
- In the Update Password window:
- Type your current
password in the "Current
Password" text field.
- Type your new password
in the "New
Password"
text field
- Then type it again in the "Repeat
Password"
text field
- Press the "Update
Password" button.
How do I view my account
information?
To view your subscription
account information:
- Log in to your account
if you haven't already.
- In the top right hand
corner of the browser window click on "My
account".
- Then in the Quantunet Member Control
Panel click on "Account
Details".
How do I change my account

To change your account information:

- In the "Update Account" window:
- Update your information for you email address,
name and surname shown in your account information.
Is my account automatically billed annually?
As you purchased a subscription to quantunet
your paypal account is automatically billed
each year for the same amount for the duration
of your subscription. To prevent this you must
opt out of the recurring billing option in
your Paypal account.
How do I opt out of recurring billing?
To opt out of recurring billing form quantunet:
- Simply log into you Paypal account.
- Then modify your recurring billing settings
in the service settings of the Paypal manager.

am encountering a problem with my subscription
account?

Can I share my account
with other people?
Quantunet does not allow account sharing for
single user subscriptions however if you would
like to use the account for more than one person
a group subscription account can be set up
that allows up to two hundred people top share
the account.
Do you have subscription
options that allow multiple users?
Yes we have a number of different multi user

What is the difference
between a single user licence and a group
user account?
Group user accounts can have multiple users
on multiple computers or locations using quantunet's
resources through a single group subscription
account.
Do you have special subscription
options for schools?
Yes quantunet has a number of group subscriptions
available with discounts available for schools.
